Give us an overview of the Sudbury East Chamber:
For 20 years, the Sudbury East Chamber of Commerce as been an advocate for the communities of the Sudbury East area, comprising of Municipalities of French River, Killarney, Markstay-Warren, St.-Charles, and the Dokis First Nation. Our Mission is to be the Voice of Business in the Sudbury East area by advocating with all levels of government to foster a strong economic environment that benefits our members’ businesses and the Sudbury East community.
Tell us about the community you're located in and how your organization has immersed itself in your area?
Our community is fairly spread out but shares the same core values. We work on behalf of our members in a unified manner with the local municipalities, First Nations, organizations, and businesses, in order to maintain and increase the number of services and resources provided to Chamber Members and the Sudbury East region, and to strengthen the business, economic, social, community, and health sectors of the Sudbury East community.
What is something the Sudbury East Chamber is extremely proud of?
We are very proud of our Back-to-Business campaign happening right now, providing support, marketing materials, and free promotion to our local businesses to encourage everyone to shop local and support the small businesses in the community as they adapt to the COVID world.
Why are the local businesses affiliated with the Sudbury East Chamber important to you and your community?
Local businesses are the heart and soul of Sudbury East, providing for all that live here and helping to foster a sense of community. Every year we see more new faces and young families moving to the area. We look forward to seeing more and more new businesses open to support the population as we continue to grow!

We don’t have an office, we are everywhere and we are nowhere at the same time!
